Huntington, WV (HNN) -- Ask any J. K. Rowling fan and they'll tell you the Harry Potter series is hot. Pullman Square in Huntington heated up Friday night, July 15, 2005 with Empire Books Harry Potter release party.

Wizards, witches and warlocks lit up the square while the acoustical stylings of The Love Coats provided entertainment. All in all, it was a bitchin' book breaking bender.

Face painting was provided in the bookstore and any purchase warranted a 20 percent off coupon. Children of all ages enjoyed ice cold lemonade provided by Rick's Lemonade stand and Stewarts original hot dogs. This comes on the heels of the Pullman Square summer concert series which occurs every Thursday. Past bands have included Bob Thompson and Blue Maxx.
