Teleservice Company to Locate in Huntington

Huntington (HNN) — The Huntington Area Development Council (HADCO) announced Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005, that Global Contact Services, a teleservice company based in Salisbury, N.C., has leased space in the West Virginia Department of Highways Building on Madison Avenue in Huntington.
 
Global Contact Services (GCS) will employ 50 people within the first 30 days of startup and exceed 100 jobs in the near future according to Gerald McDonald, HADCO president. Wages at the GCS facility in Huntington will range between $8.00 and $13.00 per hour with fringe benefits.
 
The Huntington facility for GCS represents their third location in West Virginia. Other offices are in Summersville and Mt. Hope.
