Huntington (HNN) — Whether you are looking for something a little different to accent your wardrobe or aching to try a whole new look, Village Collection may be the boutique to serve your needs, conveniently located on the plaza at 900 Fourth Avenue. And, with a carefully selected product line that caters to the fashion conscious, Brandy Ward, a store associate, says "We are not just selling clothes, we are selling a complete look from head to toe."
Q: "How long have you been in business?"
A: "We have been located downtown 28 years. Originally, we were located further down the street, across from the Keith-Albee. We thought this [new] location would give us more visibility and greater ease of access for our customers."
Q: "Many businesses have come and gone in downtown Huntington over the past 28 years. What is the secret to Village Collection's success?"
A: "The owner, Vicky Rosenburg, is very particular and knows our clientele very well. She actually buys with their needs in mind. We have a really seasoned and strong sales team that can put a whole look together for someone anytime, with many years of experience in the fashion industry. Our product selection rivals that of larger department stores such as Nordstrum's. We have some lines that cannot be found at the mall, even some which cannot be found anywhere else in the Tri-State."
Q: "Any advice you would give to someone trying to business in the downtown area?"
A: "Don't give up and be persistent."
Owner Vicky Rosenburg and Associate Brandy Ward of the Village Collection can be found at 900 4th Avenue in downtown Huntington. They can also be reached by phone at (304) 525-2204. * (View Pictures)
