Huntington, WV (HNN) -- Matthew will be a popular name when Warner Brothers comes to town to shoot their film on the Marshall air disaster and the “young Thundering Herd.”

Alongside Matthew McConaughey will be Matthew Fox, who stars as Dr. Jack Shephard in “Lost” and who was featured in “Party of Five” and “My Boyfriend’s Back.” On “Lost,” he plays one of 48 passengers who survive a plane crash on a remote South Pacific island.

Fox has signed to play Red Dawson, the one surviving coach from the MU 1970 team, who helps Lengyel band together the 1971 team.

Warner Bros. has not yet released the actor who will play Nate Ruffin, an injured 1970 team member who did not make the doomed flight. Ruffin became captain of the 1971 squad.

Shooting on the picture is scheduled to start March 20 in Huntington.
