Barboursville, WV (HNN) -- The First State Bank will be holding PINK WEEK celebrations at three locations the week of October 16-20, 2006. The bank will celebrate the arrival of the “Pink Card,” a pink credit card that will help to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The bank’s Pink Week will feature pink refreshments, pink prizes and more information about the Pink Card.

“The First State Bank continually gives back to many wonderful causes,” said Adam Daniels, Marketing Director, “however, with the Pink Card, our customers can get involved as well.” For each card opened The First State Bank will donate $10 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. “Normally, a pink credit card may not interest everyone,” continued Daniels, “but knowing it can help to raise awareness and money for breast cancer, the card appeals to men and women alike.”

The bank’s Pink Week will take place Monday, Oct.16 through Friday, Oct. 20 at the bank’s main location in Barboursville, Huntington Kroger location and Teays Valley location.
