'WAM' OVERTAKES 'GLORY ROAD': Football Film Adds Another $380,000 at Box Office

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Having dropped to 640 screens nationwide, “We Are Marshall” mustered another $380,000 in revenue estimates over the Feb. 2-4 weekend, according to Show Biz Data and The-Numbers.com.
Averaging now only $640 per screen, “WAM” passed “Glory Road,” the hoops basketball drama, to move into 9th among modern sports movies. The Warner Bros. film has taken in an estimated $42,776,000 during its 45 days of release.
McG’s “We Are…Marshall” would need to pick up another $2 million in theatrical release revenue to pass the same studios, “The Replacements,” which is 9th among modern football movies.
