Hurricane High Wins Band Competition Grand Championship; Princeton First Runner-up; Cabell Midland 2nd Runner-up

Huntington, WV (HNN) -- Hurricane High School won the grand championship award at the Marshall University Band Competition held at the Joan C. Edwards Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Princeton was first runner-up and Cabell Midland was second- runner-up in the competition that had around 30 high school bands compete from the area.
Cabell Midland won the booster award, Princeton won the outstanding dance team, Lincoln County won best majorettes and Wayne High School won the best twirler award.
The Marshall University Marching Thunder performed in an impressive exhibition performance at the conclusion of the competition that started at 11 a.m. and finished about 10 p.m.
