Deputies Make Arrest in Murder Case

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Cabell County Sheriff’s Deputies have made an arrest in connection with the killing of Maynard Wiggins. Passersby found his body along Four Pole Creek Road near Huntington
Feb. 24.
Matthew Curtis, 20, was charged with murder Wednesday afternoon March 26. He will be held at the Western Regional Jail without bond.
Law enforcement will not discuss motives, but two others have been arrested on drug related charges.
Ironically, the suspect was already in jail. The Huntington Police Department had arrested him for failure to appear in court.
