Firefighters Announce Election Endorsements

Huntington, WV (HNN) – The International Association of Firefighters, Local 289 have endorsed Democratic Mayoral candidate Bob Bailey, according to a release.
The Huntington Professional Firefighters Association also endorsed:
Frances Jackson (District 3), John Vance (District 5), Scott Caserta (District 7), Richard Simmons (District 9) and for ‘at large’ Steve Williams and Mike Davis.
Huntington’s firefighters union has been embroiled in contract negotiations with the city whose administration has advanced proposals that would significantly alter insurance and pension coverage for city employees.
