CRIME UPDATES: Deputies Need Help with Rape Suspect; Man Stabbed Near Floodwall; Kenova Drug Bust Nails Five People

Huntington, WV (HNN) – The Cabell County Sheriff’s Department needs your help in locating a man suspected of stripping and raping a 17-year-old girl Tuesday morning, Sept. 16 at a Pea Ridge school bus stop.
The incident report indicates that a white male in his 20s pulled the girl from behind into the stairway of an apartment along East Drive. The suspect has blond hair, stands about five foot ten inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. When the incident occurred wore a black shirt, ball cap and khaki shorts. He rode a dark mountain bike.
He stole her brown Coach purse, AT&T Blackberry, a prepaid credit card and other identification.
Cabell County Sheriff’s Deputies are asking that businesses in that area with surveillance cameras check the tapes as the man is believed to live in or near the neighborhood.
Information should be phone to 911 or the Sheriff’s Office Detective Unit 304-743-1594.
WESTMORELAND STABBING
A man walking his dog along New York Street and the floodwall was robbed and stabbed Monday morning , Sept. 22 at around 10:15 a.m., according to police dispatches.
The two suspects hit him on the head, demanded his wallet, cut him on the arm and kicked his dog.
KENOVA MOTEL YIELDS 600 GRAMS OF COCAINE
Four people have been jailed after Kenova police found 600 grams of cocaine, cash, scales and drug paraphernalia at the Hollywood Motel.
Ricky and Sara Newman, Anthony Adkins and Eric Morris all face drug charges. The Newman’s had a three year old boy in the room so they face felony child neglect charges.
CUFFED, HPD ARREST TWO FOR ILLEGAL FILMING MINORS
The CUFFED Task Force made up of the U.S. Marshall’s Service, Cabell County Sheriff’s Office, Huntington Police Department, West Virginia State Police , West Virginia Department of Corrections and other local and county authorities have arrested a Cabell County man a Huntington woman for allegedly shooting explicit films of minors.
Autumn Meadows of the 2800 block of Fourth Avenue had 35 warrants for use of minors in sexually explicit films. Michael Ray of Barboursville was arrested Monday afternoon in Barboursville on similar charges.
