Chesapeake OH Moving Company Seeks People to Help Get Firm Licensed in WV
By Huntingtonnews.net Staff
Chesapeake, OH (HNN) -- If you've had a bad experience with a moving company or were unable to get a mover when you needed one, Chesapeake Transfer LLC wants to move you -- temporarily, of course -- to Charleston, WV to testify that there is a need for another moving company in the Huntington-Charleston corridor.
The company is seeking 10 people from Cabell, Wayne, Kanawha or Putnam counties to testify to the fact that they either have had a poor moving experience with a moving company in one of the above mentioned counties or were unable to get a mover when they needed one, according to Melody Kipp, office manager of Chesapeake Transfer.
The company is seeking West Virginia authority to be able to do household and commercial moves.
Kipp: "There would be reasonable travel reimbursement. I would need the witness to call me at 304-654-8989 or after 5:30 p.m. at 740-894-8806. They would need to give me their contact information so I could pass it on to our attorney. The attorney would then call and talk to the witness to see if they would qualify."
The court date is set for Nov. 13, Kipp added, noting that "We are having a hard time finding people that are willing to travel to Charleston."
