Parents of Dead MU Student Have Been Notified

Huntington, WV (HNN) – The parents of a man found dead in his dormitory room have been told of his death, according to reports from Bill Bissett, MU chief of staff. The body was found in Twin Towers West Monday evening, Feb. 9, 2009.
An investigation continues into the cause, but law enforcement and Marshall University officials all assert that no evidence of a crime was found.
Earlier, dispatchers sent EMS to the dorm where a student had apparently suffered a cardiac arrest.
The University is releasing nothing further on the death. Counselors have been made available for students to share their grief.
