Huntington, WV (HNN) - Do you enjoy Pullman Square in the if it’s not broke don’t fix it category? Patrons can rejoice; it will stay status quo for some time to come.

Back in May 2008 , the developers put the combination entertainment /retail center up for sale based on its listing at online real estate website Loopnet.com. Vickie Shaffer, then chief executive officer of the Tri-State Transit Authority, in a published report indicated it was put on the block on or about February 2008. The asking price was $27.56 million.

However, Bill Dargusch, of Metropolitan Partners, L.L.C., confirmed to HNN that “the market does not exist” for selling the center. Instead, “We are still involved and will be for some time.”

Nationwide the market has clogged for commercial due to the recession , Wall Street meltdown, and bank’s not lending funds.

Dargusch also told HNN that he had “no new news” on potential additional tenants for Pullman Square.
