Starlight Cinema Announces July Movies

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Starlight Cinema sponsored by St. Mary’s Medical Center returns to Harris Riverfront Park on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11.
 
Showing Friday night, July 10, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. This sequel brings back lovable New York Zoo Animals, Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo. Still stranded in Madagascar, they manage to leave the island only to land in the wilderness of Africa. There, Alex meets the rest of his family but has trouble communicating after his time at the Central Park Zoo. This hilarious animated adventure stars the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Alec Baldwin, and Bernie Mac. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is rated PG.
 
On Saturday, July 11 is Knowing staring Nicolas Cage. A time capsule containing some chilling predictions - some that have already occurred and others that are about to, sends a concerned father on a race to prevent the horrific events from unfolding as predicted in this action thriller. Knowing is rated PG-13.
 
Starlight Cinema is sponsored by St. Mary’s Medical Center and Big Sandy Superstore Arena. Media partners are WTCR-FM, WKEE-FM, the Herald-Dispatch, and WOWK 13.
 
Concessions are available since no coolers, outside food or beverages are permitted. Starlight Cinema is an alcohol-free event. No pets are permitted in the park also.
 
Admission is free with a ticket available at the following sponsors: Big Sandy Superstore Arena, the Herald-Dispatch, and Big Sandy Superstores Ashland and Chesapeake locations.
 
Gates open at 7:30pm and movies start at dusk.
