Barboursville, WV (HNN) --- The Huntington Mall Borders is now inviting the public to their store today, Saturday, June 27th, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., for a networking session and book-signing event. Nationally-known horror writer and editor Michael Knost and regional author and publisher Keith Davis will be on hand to sign special copies of their book titles, including: Legends of the Mountain State, The Secret Life of Mamie Thurman, The Feuding Hatfields & McCoys, West Virginia Tough Boys and others.

According to book event planners, there is no agenda for the activity, but area writers and regional book lovers are encouraged to come to Borders to chat about the latest trends in the book industry, about regional titles, and speculative fiction writing techniques.

Besides being an author, Knost teaches several college writing courses at SWVCTC, and holds private writing seminars throughout southern West Virginia, and will be a featured guest at the 2009 West Virginia Book Festival, to be held at the Charleston Covic Center, October 10th and 11th, 2009.
