Soccer Fans and Players Welcomed by Concerts at Pullman, on Fourth Avenue & Showing of We Are Marshall

Huntington, WV (HNN) - Huntington welcomed soccer teams and fans playing in the US Youth Soccer Eastern Regional Championships with two concerts and a free showing of the "We Are Marshall," movie on Thursday night, July 2.
 
The Heiner's Bakery Pullman Square Summer Concert Series continued with entertainment from OnesAll. Several soccer teams could be seen dancing, in attendance or dining at many of the restaurants.
 
For Celebrate Huntington, Fourth Ave. was closed for the Angie Fletcher Band that had a large crowd for her show in front of the Keith Albee.The movie "We Are Marshall," was being shown inside the Keith Albee on a continuous basis. Several vendors were there and a host of cars were on display.
 
One person with a soccer VIP tag walking between the concerts was impressed with the hospitality and calling it the best opening ceremonies. She noted that 3,000 rooms had been booked from Charleston, WV to South Point, Ohio.
 
Radio station The Dawg 93.7 FM one of the event sponsors was already preparing for their July 4th Dawg Dazzle on Saturday night at Harris Riverfront Park giving out free tickets for the event.
