It was around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night when the entertainment started on the stage for the 5th Annual Dawg Dazzle that returned to Harris Riverfront Park after being held at Pullman Square the last two years.

Performers Angie Fletcher, Bridget Reynolds, Larry Pancake, Stephen Salyers, Aaron Holley, Kelly Ray Davis, Robin Lee, Angie Caserta, John Darrin Rowsey, Shawn Cabell, guitarist Bud Carroll and making her on stage debut wearing firecracker red was 13-year-old Emily Kinner, The audience loved the show and some were dancing in front of the stage.

What was amazing when it was time for the fireworks show the crowd had grown considerably. The rains were holding off and the long fireworks show would have to be considered one of the best in Huntington. It was so long one person was wondering when the grand finally was coming.

The evidence of the large crowd showed as people exited from Harris Riverfront Park to their cars. Traffic in Huntington was heavy. Many went to the open shops at Pullman Square.
