He brought to the stage many of his success stories, including Rob from the DAWG radio station, who admitted initial skepticism about the project. However, after meeting and talking with Jamie many times he was convinced that the project was good for the area and not a set up to ridicule the life styles as he had feared.

Jamie brought up Pastor Steve, with whom Jamie worked with his church in Kenova on fund raisers to build a community kitchen.

Jamie introduced a family he had helped, initially showing them how poorly they had been eating and introducing them to his style of healthy cooking. The mother said her family had all lost weight on Jamie's program and she had changed the way they prepared food and the types of food they ate. The father is a truck driver who eats poorly on the road and he said he will try to find better food sources to maintain the healthy lifestyle. The son produced a video at his school showing how to prepare healthy food and has decided to become a chef who teaches people proper nutrition. He was very proud of his chef's coat with Lil Chef embroidered on the pocket.

Jamie talked with one of Marshall's ticket sellers who says he has changed his lifestyle from fast food to healthy food and he and Jamie led the crowd in "We are...Marshall."

Jamie then brought up the principal, a teacher, and students from a local elementary school. The students were familiar with fast foods but could not identify fresh vegetables. Jamie and the teacher worked with them and they demonstrated their knowledge of fresh foods. The principal introduced the school cooks who are now preparing all the meals from scratch and providing healthier fare for the students.

A group of students and the principal from Huntington High talked about their experiences working with Jamie and how he had changed their lives for the better.

A representative from Cabell Huntington Hospital presented a check for $80,000 to operate the new Huntington's Kitchen, which will continue Jamie's work of teaching people how to cook and eat healthy foods. A spokeswoman from the Ebenezer Outreach spoke about how the Huntington's Kitchen will operate and the new sign was unveiled by the Huntington High students. People were invited to visit the Kitchen, where another check for $30,000 was prominently displayed, which was also donated by Cabell Huntington Hospital.

The crowd was attentive and captivated by Jamie and his success stories.

Around the block, people were waiting in line for the Rascal Flatts concert at the Keith Albee.

Jamie will edit his two months here into a series for television.
