Computer Basics Class Offered by Goodwill

Goodwill Industries will begin a new 7-week course on “Computer Basics” Monday, Dec. 7, 2009. Class will be held each Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The course costs $100 for all sessions.
The course will include computer terminology, navigation, how to use the mouse, how to open files, how to create folders, how to navigate and search the Internet, how to start a free e-mail account, send e-mails and attachments, and the basics of Microsoft Word Processing.
Classes will be held in Goodwill’s Computer Lab at 1005 Virginia Avenue, Huntington. Class is limited to 12 students.
