Cabell Huntington Hospital Adds Neurologist Specializing in Movement Disorders

Huntington, WV (HNN) -- Rita Gandhy, MD, has joined the Medical Staff at Cabell Huntington Hospital and the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine Department of Neuroscience.
 
Dr. Gandhy is a neurologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of movement disorders including Parkinson's disease. She is also an assistant professor of neurology with the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.
 
Dr. Gandhy earned her medical degree at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, IL. She completed her neurology training at the University of California in San Diego. In addition to a year of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stanford University, she completed a movement disorder fellowship at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
 
She joins the Department of Neuroscience, which includes a comprehensive team of neurologists and neurosurgeons with subspecialty expertise in a wide range of adult and pediatric neurological and neurosurgical services.
