Marshall Smashs East Carolina with 51 Poi nt Victory Margin

Huntington, WV (HNN) - The Marshall University men's basketball team got back on the winning track Saturday evening at Cam Henderson Center with a 100-48 win over East Carolina.
The 51 point margin of victory set a Conference USA record between Conference USA opponents.
Marshall came into the game with five straight losses most of them close and fifth in Conference USA with a 4-4 mark and 15-7 overall.
Marshall may have taken all that loss frustration out on East Carolina before the 5,603 in attendance.
Marshall will play Rio Grande, Ohio (5-19) on Tuesday at 7 PM (Feb 9) at home Marshall is now 16-7.
