Marshall Presidential Announcement Expected This Week

Huntington (HNN) — Marshall University's Board of Governors has selected the next president of the University, but they will not announce their choice until a news conference later this week.
 
The three finalists are: Thomas Hanley, current VP and former provost of Auburn; Stephen Kopp, former provost of Ohio University and current special assistant to the Ohio Board of Regents, and Charles Kupchella, president of the University of North Dakota.
 
John Bardo, who's a chancellor at Western Carolina University, has withdrawn his name from consideration.
