Huntington (HNN) – As 2004 was winding down, Ben Lauren was sitting in front of college freshman at Florida State University each day teaching them the basics of college English. At the start of 2005, Lauren, the singer for No Address was on the road with Shinedown and taking part in his first major tour.
Just about half way into the year Lauren and his band have traveled throughout the United States with some of the top bands in current rock radio. Following the tour with Shinedown they went out with Crossfade, who they are still currently on the road with.
The 3 Doors Down tour will bring No Address to Charleston on July 31, 2005.
It will be the Tallahassee, Fla. band's first visit to the Mountain State.
Their album "Time Doesn't Notice" was released on April 26, 2005 and the first single "When I'm Gone (Sadie)" is one of the most added songs in rock radio. The first week the album came out it rested at the #13 most played rock song on national radio.
Tuesday afternoon, May 17, 2005 Lauren called HNN's Brandon Woolum from Cincinnati to talk about the band and their upcoming show in Noblesville, Ind. (just north of Indianapolis) Saturday, May 28, 2005.
The Noblesville show is a radio festival called "May Day" and is part of the events for the week of the Indy 500. Woolum will be heading out to Indiana armed with press passes to provide you exclusive photos and a review of the days events.
Performing at the May 28 show along with No Address is 3 Doors Down, Shinedown and Crossfade. The show will be one of only 4 shows Shinedown is doing while recording their brand new CD.
