Huntington (HNN) --With well over 12 million CD's sold, including 7,000 copies of their latest disc right here in the Huntington area, 3 Doors Down is on the road with their summer tour. The Mississippi 4-piece has enlisted the help of Staind, Breaking Benjamin and No Address for the summer trek that continues up into September. The tour will make a stop at the Charleston Civic Center Sunday, July 31, 2005 - 3 Doors Down's first Tri-State appearance since January 2004.

Friday afternoon, July 22, 2005 bass player of the multi-platinum band, Todd Harrell, took a break from the road to call in and chat with HNN's Brandon Woolum. The pair talked about the current tour and upcoming tours, along with some of the upcoming things ahead for the band.

Listen to the MP3Nearly 10 number one singles and more radio adds in various formats then any rock band ever, 3 Doors Down has been dubbed "America's Favorite Rock Band" by music critics nationwide.

The Universal recording artists are selling out large arenas and outdoor amphitheaters across American on the current tour. Charleston is actually one of the smaller venues that this summer's tour is stopping at.

The July 31 show is just a few sections away from being a sell-out. The band's last show in Charleston sold out and it is expected that this one will be a repeat performance. Since their last appearance, 3 Doors Down has introduced a much larger stage show for fans to have a better experience live.

Tri-State music fans get the chance next week to see the band which has sold out over 300 concerts the past year.

Tickets are $36 for the upper level seating. The general admission floor and all the lower bowl reserved seats are already sold out. Tickets can be purchased at the Civic Center Box Office or online at www.ticketmaster.com. For more information on 3 Doors Down, check out: www.3DoorsDown.com
