BRP U.S. Inc. is recalling Ski-Doo® Snowmobiles sold nationwide from March 2006 to May 2008. Friction between the fuel hose and the cylinder head cover can cause the hose to pierce. This can cause fuel to leak out, posing a fire hazard.

The recall involves the following Ski-Doo® Models:

Model Color
2007 and 2008 Expedition TUV V800 Deep Red/Black
2007 and 2008 Skandic SWT V-800 Yellow/Black

The model names are located on the side panel.

Note: The 2007 and 2008 Skandic SWT V-800 Snowmobiles were previously recalled due to explosion hazard.

Consumers should contact any Ski-Doo dealer to schedule a free repair.

Consumers can also contact BRP at (888) 638-5397 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit http://www.ski-doo.com/en-US/Owner.Center/Recall.Information.htm. More info at www.recalls.org.

UTILITY VEHICLES

Bush Hog LLC is recalling Bush Hog Off-Road Utility Vehicles sold nationwide from January 2004 to March 2008. The utility vehicle’s throttle cable can freeze in freezing temperatures. This can cause the engine not to return to idle when the driver takes his or her foot off the accelerator pedal.

The recall includes the Bush Hog Models TH440 (Trail Hunter), TH4200 (Trail Hand) and TH4400 (Trail Hand) Off-Road Utility Vehicles. “Bush Hog” is printed on the utility vehicle’s cargo bed tail gate and on each side of the cargo bed. Model “TH440,” “TH4200,” or “TH4400” is printed on each side of the hood.

Consumers should contact a Bush Hog dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair.

Consumers can also contact Bush Hog LLC at (877) 873-0143 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT Monday through Friday, or visit http://www.bushhog.com/ContentFiles/Documents/Bush%20Hog%20website%20cable%2 0recall%20notice.pdf (pdf). More info at www.recalls.org.

MOTORCYCLE CLAMP KITS

Tucker Rocky Distributing is recalling Pro Taper Clamp Kits Used With Off-Road Motorcycles sold nationwide from October 2007 to March 2008. Some of the bolts included in the clamp kits (or sold separately) if installed incorrectly can break under extreme force such as a crash. This can cause the handlebars to separate posing a risk of serious injury to the rider.

The Pro Taper Clamp Kits are aftermarket accessories for off-road motorcycles.

Consumers should contact Tucker Rocky Distributing at (866) 217-7750 anytime for free replacement bolts or visit www.protaper.com. More info at www.recalls.org.

The recalled key chains have several charms including a button, clover, leaf, and heart. The charms hang from a silver-colored chain. The words “Hip charm” and the following UPC numbers are printed on the products packaging: 03156811032, 03156811029, 03156811019, 03156811016, 03156811018, 03156811028, and 03156811030.
