Rahall Statement on the Passing of U.S. Rep. John Murtha (1932-2010)

Washington, DC (HNN) – U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall, D-WV issued the following statement on Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 on the passing of Pennsylvania Representative John Murtha on Feb. 8:
“Congressman Murtha was a true leader who cared about America’s future,” said Rahall. “His decades of service and leadership will be deeply missed as Congress continues to address so many important issues for our nation.”
“I extend my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to his wife and family, and hope they take comfort in knowing that his legend carries on in the hearts and minds of his colleagues.”
