Charleston (HNN) — The American Lung Association of West Virginia (ALAWV) held its 18th Annual Greenbrier Trail Bike Trek (GTBT) on June 3–5, 2005.

This event was an exciting three–day, 100–mile mountain bike adventure that gave cyclists a unique experience they will never forget. Participants had the opportunity to absorb the beautiful mountain scenery and experience the robust Greenbrier River Trail, all while supporting the endeavors of the American Lung Association of West Virginia.

With 45 participants, the ALAWV raised more than $32,000. The ALAWV would like to send a special thank you to Pocahontas County for sponsoring the event. Each trekker had to raise a minimum of $400; however, many trekkers raised more than the minimum to compete for prizes and trophies.
