Highlanders Place Fifth in State Wrestling Championship

Huntington, WV (HNN)-- Huntington High placed fifth after the finals of the West Virginia State Wrestling Championship held Saturday, Febuary 26, 2006 at the Big Sandy Supetstore Arena In Huntington.
Highlander wrestlers caputred two individual championships. Senior Zack Fraley at 119 pounds and Senior
Ryan Cook at 275 pounds.

Fraley was named Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament.
Huntington High Coach Bill Archer coaching in his final tournament, was named Coach of the Year.
Wheeling Park won the team championship in AAA followed by Parkesburg South and Parkersburg. Cabell Midland finished eleventh while Spring Valley placed twenty-fifth.
In the A-AA division Oak Glen captured the team title followed by Calhoun County and Point Pleasant.
