Supporters, Friends, Families to Mark 15th Anniversary of Americans with Disabilities Act July 26

Charleston, WV (HNN) - West Virginians with Disabilities, families, friends and advocates will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Great Hall of the West Virginia Cultural Center on the grounds of the State Capitol here. The theme of the event is "Celebrating 15 years of Improved Independence Through the Americans with Disabilities Act."
The event will feature music by Griffith and Cross, a West Virginia country music duo who have recently signed a Nashville contract, and Derek Mortland, from Morgantown; local speakers who will relate their experiences with the ADA and; announcement of the Creative Expressions Contest winners.
