Casey: What’s Kim Wolfe Up to Now?
From WV Democratic Party Press Release
Charleston, WV (HNN) -- West Virginia State Democratic Chairman Nick Casey
asks why Instead of fighting the war on drugs in Cabell County, Kim Wolfe is
spending his time at an international health junket in Houston, Texas. Can
Cabell County kids afford a sheriff riding off to the West, while drug
dealers prey on their innocence?
And there they go again. On the heels of congressional candidate Chris
Wakim’s misrepresentation of his resume and distortion of Congressman Alan
Mollohan’s voting record, [Third District] candidate Kim Wolfe is following
in his footsteps. Wolfe proudly lists his Advisory Committee membership to
the National Task Force on Community Preparedness and Response as license
for him to discuss national homeland security issues, but from a quick
search on the web, it appears anybody could sign up to participate in a
conference the committee had last year. It appears a former Republican
Governor heads the parent non governmental non profit group. It is unclear
whether Wolfe’s use of the group for his campaign threatens the group’s tax
status.
Wolfe in a recent press release claims Congressman Rahall voted to allow
Mexicans to be tipped off about the Minuteman Project to protect our
borders, when in fact Congressman Rahall voted the opposite way. Wolfe acts
enraged that Congressman Rahall didn’t vote for a national ID. Who in West
Virginia wants to be subject to a national ID, the next thing you know they
will be numbering our guns.
Finally it would appear candidate Wolfe has lifted his immigration platform
directly from a website just like Chris Wakim’s economic development copycat
plan. It appears that these guys lack the experience to deal honestly or
thoughtfully with the major issues confronting our Nation and our State.
Looks like Karl Rove’s evil coordinated campaign tactics truly can’t stand
the light of day.
