Sleep Inn & Suites Hotel in Cross Lanes, W. Va. Honored as Inn of the Year

Cross Lanes, WV (HNN) – Owners/General Managers Angela and Kelsey Harding Sr. of the Sleep Inn & Suites hotel returned home from the nation’s capital with lots of reasons to celebrate. The hotel was named Inn of the Year award from Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), franchisor of the Sleep Inn brand, during the company’s 55th annual convention in Washington, D.C.
"The Sleep Inn & Suites Hotel in Cross Lanes was given this award for the Sleep Inn brand because of its stellar performance,” said Bruce Haase, executive vice president, global brand operations. “This award is significant because it means that this hotel stood out among its peers of the 383-strong Sleep Inn brand in the areas of operational excellence and guest satisfaction.”
The hotels selected as Inn of the Year winners at the convention this year all rank near the top of hotels within their brand and represent the properties most committed to customer satisfaction. The best of each brand is selected by reviewing the property’s guest satisfaction scores, the quality assurance scores and unannounced on-site inspections. Choice Hotels presents the awards for properties that best demonstrates lodging excellence by offering services and guest experiences that set the standards for the entire industry.
“This award is a great honor because it means being one of the best hotels in the Choice Hotel system,” Angela Harding said. “Our staff has a genuine interest in providing the best service to our guests and this award affirms that their efforts have been appreciated.
