Charleston, WV (HNN) — The Division of Highways on Thursday, June 25 advised motorists that the temporary exit ramp to MacCorkle Avenue from Interstate 64 eastbound scheduled to open Friday, June 26, will have a sharper curve than the previous exit ramp.

The ramp, being constructed as work along the Dunbar/South Charleston bridge advances, will carry a new, reduced speed limit of 20 miles-per-hour.

Signage and temporary message boards will be placed in the area to inform motorists of the new speed limit and sharper curve.

As always, the Division of Highways advises motorists to always proceed with caution through and around a work zone.
