Special to Huntingtonnews.net
The Kanawha-Charleston Board of Health voted unanimously at their meeting held on Thursday, February 4th to censure the West Virginia Legislature for continuing to allow smoking in the West Virginia State Capitol Building. The Kanawha-Charleston Clean Indoor Air Regulation became effective on July 1, 2008 which prohibits smoking in all enclosed public places in Kanawha County.
Editor's Note: At least one report has been printed suggesting a potential legislative state wide indoor smoking ban. It would have one exception --- the State Capitol.
