Baseball Hosts Annual Banquet in Cam Henderson Center on Feb. 5

Cincinnati Reds Announcer Marty Brennamen Serves as Guest Speaker

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University baseball team will hold its annual team banquet – Step Up to the Plate – on Saturday, Feb. 5 inside the Cam Henderson Center. The event will serve as a fundraiser for the 2011 Thundering Herd baseball squad and will feature Cincinnati Reds announcer Marty Brennamen as the honorary guest speaker.

Step Up to the Plate Agenda
5:30 p.m. – Pre-event Reception for Table Sponsors
6:30 p.m. – Doors Open: Silent Auction and autograph session with 2011 MU baseball team
7:30 p.m. – Dinner begins, followed by Coach Jeff Waggoner speech, Team Introduction, Ring of Honor, Live Auction and Guest Speaker Marty Brennamen.

Ticket Information
Individual adult tickets for the banquet cost $75, while youth tickets are $25. Any Marshall baseball alumni can enter the banquet for $50, while a sponsored table costs $1,000. A sponsored table consists of eight tickets to the pre-event reception and reserved table tickets along with eight general admission tickets to a MU baseball game.
