Agenda Placement would Require Mayor or Chairman of Council Approval

The agenda for Huntington City Council's Monday, April 25 meeting has been announced. Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at  Huntington City Hall in council chambers.

One of the first readings submits amendments to the rules for transacting business before council, such as placing an item on the agenda. Those originating from the Mayor's office would be exempt; however, any other item would require the chairperson's approval.

At the work session, Gary Bunn indicated this was in response to the 48 hour parking proposal that failed 9-2.
