The Keith Albee Performing Arts Center ushered Huntington into the "Mayor Steve" era when the stage of the Thomas Lamb designed icon served as the ceremonial swearing in for Huntington's newly elected Mayor Steve Williams. As  a symbolic gesture of "working together." new and incumbent council members were sworn in.

 Grouped in chronological order, the ceremony included a performance by the Musical Arts Guild, council chair Mark Bates singing, high school color guards, and members of the Williams family. 

Opening  the series of 40 photos, retro model Selina Kyle wearing a  gown (courtesy of the Marshall University Theatre Department) such as might have been worn by  a vintage film noir Veronica Lake  stands under the fully lighted Keith Albee marquee. 

At the end of the gallery, VIPs greet Mayor Williams at the reception.
