On a cloud filled, glove friendly Monday afternoon, January 14, Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, 60, took the oath of office as West Virginia's governor.
Prior to Tomblin's swearing in, WV Supreme Court Justice Brent Benjamin administered the oath of office to Secretary of State Natalie Tennant, Auditor Glen Gainer, Treasurer John Perdue, recently elected Agriculture Commissioner Walt Helmick, the new Republican Attorney General Patrick Morrisey. Two Supreme Court Justices were sworn in: Robin Davis and new Justice Allen Loughry.
Photographer Glen Berry attended the ceremony and we will be posting multiple galleries.
